Damien,
Yes it's working fine now. Apologies for the mix up on that front. I'll keep testing out and report any bugs or errors I encounter...
Thanks

Thanks. All feedbacks are very appreciated.
My game is almost finished now. I should come then with the version 1.2 (with Fusion2.5).
Hi conceptgame! Thanks for your good job!
Is it possible to know the approximate date of release of the version 1.2?
Hi Crian,
I should be able to finish debugging the version 1.2 in some weeks, I think for end of june.
Its good news to know, that the 1.2 versión is in finish debugging !. Thanks Damien for your excellente extension and work.
The new version has a rotate camera preview (portrait) feature ?.
Nando
The rotated camera preview was finished since a long time. Sorry for this but another part of the extension is difficult to debug.
That's why it is taking so long.
Take your time CG!
Hi, just tried to run an exe using opencapture on windows 7 embedded and it immidiatly shows an error "Cannot load OpenCapture.mfx. This object might need an external program or libary not yet installed."
What do i need to do in order for this to work on 7 embedded? It works fine on windows 7 pro.
Thanks
Andy
Hi Gibbon,
Some Windows Embedded systems like WEC7 do not have all Directshow filters. Try installing MediaCenter Feature Pack to get all Directshow stuff.
Hi, just going back to the windows embedded issue, i have just reinstalled a fresh windows 7 pro onto the computer and tried to run the program again and strangly the error shows up again? Yet i pull my USB stick out and plug it back into the computer where my MMF is installed (windows 7 pro) and simply run it and it works?
What does windows need to run it?
Thanks
Andy
Windows needs Directshow which is a standard excepting for some embedded system. Are you running your exe from your usb stick? It can be the problem in this case.
Hi, just going back to this, windows 7 pro (not embedded) surly has directshow filters installed? Its a full clean install of windows 7 pro, right after install i try to run my application (that works on my computer also running windws 7 pro) and it comes up with the error "Cannot load OpenCapture.mfx. This object might need an external program or libary not yet installed."
Very strange, anything I can try?
Thanks
Andy
I only had this problem with embedded systems and exe started from usb stick.
Did you try Dependency Walker?
I hope that is not because the libraries linked by OpenCv are too old. If any other OpenCv Software does not work, you need to wait for a further version of the extension.
Hi, ive tried running the dependancy walker and the only thing it really says (unless there is a way to detail down further that i havnt found yet) is
"Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependant module"
Does that help in anyway?
Thanks
Hi Gibbon,
It can help depending on the list of modules that are missing. You have it under the message you sent me (in the same window).
Unfortunatly that is all it says, nothing else, it lists lots of DLL's but doesnt tell me anything about them or if they are missing?
Thanks
Apparently this extension needs the MS VC 2010 runtime DLL (Please login to see this link.)
conceptgame if possible you should set the C/C++ / Code Generation / Runtime Library option to Multi-threaded instead of Multi-threaded DLL in the settings of your MS VC++ project (all release configs). If you do it the MFX will no longer need these DLLs.
Ooooh. Thanks Yves. I did not know that this option requires C++ redistribuable.
I changed this for the version 1.2 but not for this reason. I will compile a version 1.1 with this change to avoid waiting for the new version.
ahh yes, this sounds good.
When will the amended version be available?
Thanks
Andy
Once I am back from holidays.
Ok, and I appriciate that. Do you have any sort of scale when that might be. Im not asking to rush you im simply just trying to manage my projects.
Note: I can confirm installing the above has resolved the issue.
Thanks
Andy
