Look forward to the new design.
Beta: OpenCapture
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Hi michaeldunge,
OpenCapture extension is different from opencv-image Extension which was developped from someone else.
The OpenCapture extension with its example is not in Extension Manager yet. You can find the last version here:Please login to see this link.

conceptgame Any chance for a port to Android on this amazing Camera object for MMF2.5?

Hi all,
I stopped to host a website, that's why the links in this thread will be dead. Until I post a new version of the extension on the Clickstore, here the link to the last version:
Please login to see this link.
@Please login to see this link. : It is possible. I am opened to port it to Android, maybe with a limited sets of functions. I have not decided yet.
@Please login to see this link. : you posted your request in "Fusion 2.5 free" part of the forum. Only registered user of free version can see your message. I just saw it per chance because I was logged out. -

Yeah, any function would be great. Just a display surface for the camera to show up in our applications would be fantastic. The stock Android Camera control is basically just a shortcut and useless.
I did mange to use WEBVIEW2 Object as a Way to Open the WEB Camera ( Which shows up in app and not as a shortcut ). However, I have to have a website with HTTPS: security, Thanks to Google's New ( RULE THE WORLD ) concepts. Crazy, considering Android is from Linux and Linux is open source. So....Thanks in advance.

Thanks anyway. I found a way to do it via WEBVIEW 2 Object.

Your extension is just what I'm looking for. Currently using v.06. Can you send me a link to the latest version? Thank you very much.

I think I found an Issue with Open Capture. It will not stop recording, even when using the STOP RECORDING function. The only ways to make it stop is to Start Recording again or Refresh the current Frame.
Any solutions? Thanks
I am using the Latest MMF2.5DEV Build for a Windows app.
-
I even did AWAYS + STOP RECORDING. Nothing, just keeps recording.
-
For now, I simply Made a Nonsense FILE to STOP RECORDING. Basically, when you click RECORD. The actual FILE you are Trying to RECORD, RECORDS as a .avi. Then when you press the Stop button, the BS control is to Record a new file Named "" at FPS 0 and Codec 0. It works, but STOP RECORDING would be nice. X)
