I made a gameboy shader! It makes everything look green, like a gameboy! It was made by request, and is attached. Enjoy!

Gameboy shader!
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

By the way, any feedback would be appreciated. Also, if anyone wants to add dithering, go ahead.

This is a pretty nifty shader and idea, though it seems a little harsh on blue colors. Testing it on something that had a pure 255 Blue 0 Red 0 Green BG made the background entirely black. A darker BG with various shades of blue also turns all black I noticed, though blues that had a bit of green in them survived.
I managed to easily change the .fx file and make it red instead creating a Virtual Boy shader, though, which is just what I needed for something! I also managed colors like blue(which still killed off the blue colors) and grayscale(which again in my game's rather blue test area came off rather dark) and I assume several other color combos are possible.
I'd suggest if possible making some sort of checkbox for the R, G and B parts so you can provide several things in one. Perhaps I could find and provide a few "official" GB(and Virtual Boy?) palettes that could be applied with this style of shader for more accuracy? Then again, it might simply be a basic math formula that couldn't apply more than just a single direct shade...

It's a math formula that I made for the task at hand, though it is very simple, so probably, people have already used such a formula in the past. I use a similar one in my colored retro shaders. However, part of the code in this one (and possibly the colored retro shaders that I made, though I don't remember for sure) is from the monochrome shader that comes with MMF2, which made it easier to make the shader. I also basically just take the green values and make it so that only 4 (technically 3, so that one of them can be black) shades of green can show up. That's how the shader is coded off of the top of my head, that is, it might be different...

Sorry for doing such a necro post, but this seriously deserves more exposure! Thanks for this shader!

You're welcome!
Also, I only just realized that this shader has 132 downloads. It's more popular than I thought.

Maybe you should get a merchant account on ClickStore and sell it there. There are currently no shaders in that area, so if you did then you'd have 100% of the market.

But it's already available for free...
That, and me and my parents would have to work out how someone under the age of 18 would get payed from something like that...

Sorry for bringing this truly dead post back from the dead.
Just wanted to say this is an awesome shader, couple of pics below of it in use. Also is there an easy way to expand on the colours offered?
Would love a range of awesome shaders like this. Please login to see this link.
