[Beta] QuickKong (alternate Kongregate extension)

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi all!

Ok, so this has been a fairly regular request in regards to the flash exporter, since the original Kongregate extension seems to have stopped working for some reason.

I don't know a whole lot about extension development, but I was able to find this script which handled the API integration: Please login to see this link. and from there it wasn't too difficult to make that into a MMF2 extension, even with my limited actionscript knowledge.

So here's the link to my extension: Please login to see this link.

It works fine for me, although this being my first extension I might of messed something up :P so please treat this very much as a beta release!

90% of the credit obviously goes to 'UnknownGuardian' who made the QuickKong script.

Please read Kongregate's documentation on how to use their API. You basically have to set up stats via their site and then use the API to send values. If you integrate this API with your game they'll also give you an additional 10% of the ad revenue which is always nice, and your game will be considered for their monthly prizes :D

  • Just tested this out on Please login to see this link. and it worked seemingly without a hitch. I only used it for access to their statistics API, but that's all this will do right now, correct? QuickKong (which I am admittedly unfamiliar with) looks like it can access other parts of the API.

  • Yeah there's probably a lot more features that could be expanded upon. I haven't got a lot of time right now though, if anyone wants to expand on it then I can send them the source.

  • This seems very useful, but is there some example on how to use it? It seems very different from other extensions in that there seem to be very few actions in the object, are you needed to be familiar with AS3 to understand how to use this object?
