Feasibility of Application - Earphones control

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I was wandering, from your experience, do you think that an application which will allows the controls of earphones to work is possible?

Usually the control doesn't work fully and the only button working is the one that answers calls. Volume up and down doesn't. Also no skip song, no fast forward, or backward etc...

  • Hi,

test this is your device, start to play a song or play a video in full volume and connect your earphones .

1.- does your device down the volume immediately?

2.- Does it show you a toast message indicating that the volume was to high and is a risk for your audition?

the volume control not matter the application is controlled by the OS when you put your earphone, receive a call or playing a game.

  • Wait, it seems you think there is a problem with my earphones! No, there is no problem. They are Iphone compliant. This doesn't mean necessarily that they will work with Android.

However, the HTC One S has this ability. And from now on i think a lot of mobiles. In example Galaxy S1 was not compatible. For the moment i don't know for other mobiles.

So regarding Galaxy S I that was not compatible, there is an adaptor that make them work. The problem is the OS doesn't recognise the button push for some of them. There are android apps to make them work.

However i would like to know if it is possible to make one with the current API. :D
