Paste into background = add backdrop?

There doesnt seem to be any difference anymore between paste into background and add backdrop?

The way it used to be, if I remember correctly, was that paste into background was temporary and would be removed as the frame scrolled, while add backdrop was permanent just like a regular backdrop and would comsume more resources.

Has this been changed or is it a bug that paste into background does exactly the same as add backdrop?

Usling the latest beta dev build.

I think it depends on whether you are using HWA mode.

Paste into Background is just temporary and will be destroyed eventually. Add as backdrop will remain as a resource until you use the action "Delete created backdrop at (x,y)"

Yes it seems that when ur in HWA mode, paste into background is exactly the same as add backdrop.. good to know I guess!
