Do/Will MMF2 support PS4 and Xbone development?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • If so, can I/will I be able to just use the .EXE directly from MMF2 to make those versions, or will I have to purchase a separate exporter?

    I am asking because the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One are based off the same architecture as Windows PCs (x86), and both appear to be supporting the DirectX technologies directly.

    [Plus, Microsoft is offering free development kits for independent developers who sign up (2 per developer, to be exact), and I want to take advantage of this opportunity.]

  • if there eventually is support for ps4/xboxone they will definitely need customised exporters.. the windows runtime is designed for windows... I'm pretty sure ps4 is not running windows.. not only that, sony/microsoft will have strict instructions how to package games for their consoles.. supplying an .exe will not be what they want.
