Simple cave story like inventory

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • The items, or numbers, are all instances of the same object displaying a certain animation representing an item. So the way it's set up you can add as many items as MMF support animations for a single active object. I don't know if there's a cap on animations, but I guess I should have designed it another way. It's easy to tweak.

    The animation for each instance of "Item1" are controlled through the list object.
    1 = "Item1" animation 12
    2 = "Item1" animation 13
    3 = "Item1" animation 14
    etc.

    To add another object to be available in the inventory (a 4th item):
    Add a new animation for the "Item1" object. Make sure the animation is looping.

    Changing the initial inventory
    Open the list object and change the numbers. Separate items in inventory with a line. If you've created a new animation for "Item1", you may add the value "4" and the instance will display Item1's animation 15.

    The numbers on the list will render onto the inventory in the same order it has been added to the list.
