What can and can't you do with qualifiers?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

  • Is there a guide on what qualifiers can and can't do? Searching the forums yields tons of specific problems with qualifiers, but nothing comprehensive. I am so tired of the trial and error process with qualifiers.

    First off, they were basically a hacky work-around from what I've heard. Basically, it's hard to tell. Sometimes, something will work for an individual object type, but will behave really buggy as if it was a hacky work-around (which it was) if the object is a qualifier. One thing you can't use them with is behaviors or global events (which also were basically hacky work-arounds, which might explain why you can't combine them).
