Questions involving Steam

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Can Steam API be available in a game made with mmf2?

Can mmf2 get the steam username when launched via steam?

Can there be achievements for mmf2 games?

Can there be a steam workshop for a mmf2 game?

Can mmf2 get the user's key for the mmf2 game to prevent piracy?

Just wondering about these and I doubt any of them will be on 'Yes'

  • I've writ some questions wrong and cannot edit, here's the correct questions:

Is Steam API available in a game made with mmf2?

Can mmf2 get the steam username when launched via steam?

Do steam achievements for mmf2 games work?

Will steam workshop work for a mmf2 game?

Can mmf2 get the user's key for the mmf2 game to prevent piracy?
(I just though that the game can ask for a serial code the person got (for the game, of course) which then contacts the game server, then the server checks if the serial is correct. When it's correct, it lets the person to play)

  • There is a private steam object available. However, you'll need to have a game on steam, or have gotten a game on steam greenlight, in order to get it. There are only around 2 people who have it, I think one of them was Mathias. I don't know any more about it, and I think that the information I have is all that's publicly available.

My Please login to see this link. (which I actually use), my Please login to see this link. (which I mostly don't use), and my Please login to see this link. (which I don't use anymore pretty much at all really). If there are awards for "'highest number of long forum posts", then I'd have probably won at least 1 by now. XD
