Any chance of fixing alpha compositing in HWA?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I was reading up on MMF 2.5 and realized I'm a little late to the party, but is there any chance of this problem being fixed before MMF2 is retired? I know the feature list hasnt been announced yet, but if its going to run DX10 by any chance, it should make this easy to fix- but if its not, should I hold out any hope on this getting an engine fix (I understand its a particularly tricky problem in DX9), or should I put effort into workarounds for my project? I figured I can save a second, halved alpha channel for all objects for when effects are on a layer, which would be a huge thing to redo and take up a lot of extra resources and not entirely fix it anyway, so I'd want to make sure its worth the effort first. And I'm guessing I'm not the only one whos encountered this. Would sure be very thankful!

Anyway thanks for all the hard work on 2.5 and 3, looking forward to the announcement later!
