Build 258.0 (RC)

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    Fixes in 258.0

    - Multiple Touch object / "A new touch has occured on an object" and "A touch on an object is active" did not work and could slow down the application.

    Fixes in 257.28

    - Active/Background System Box objects didn't follow the frame
    - Fixed possible performance issue (caused by bad window scale)
    - Fixed OPenAL sounds not playing after receiving a phone call
    - Multitouch coordinnates didn't update when scrolled
    - Minor tweaks to the iOS display modes (more consistent behavior)

    Fixes in 257.24

    - No fixes in the iOS exporter, only fixes in the event editor.

    Fixes in 257.23

    - GameCenter: Added check to prevent authenticating twice as this could drop the connection to GameCenter
    - GameCenter: Fixed 'Start match' event that didn't trigger when the last player connected after a delay
    - Runtime: More stability when an extension in missing (ie. not supported by the iOS runtime)
    - List object: Only creates the UI element when it actually needs to be visible
    - List object: Prevent crash in PickerView if number of lines was 0
    - MultipleTouch: Gave compiler errors for some people

    Fixes in 257.22

    - Major speedup of some scrolling games (became slow because of invisible UI control handling)
    - Easing object: crash with objects out of the frame
    - GET object encoding usernames and passwords embedded in URLs incorrectly
    - Button object and iOS button now support fonts (edittime or runtime)
    - iOS Store object: no crash anymore when requesting info or payments when there is no internet connection
    - Active Picture Object crashed when having a popover active when switching frames
    - All data-saving objects: Now automatically creates all nonexisting folders when saving files to a path with subfolders.
    - List object now doesn't spam the console with invalid size messages when scrolling
    - List object 'Always fill screen width' flag didn't have any effect (seemed always on)
    - Several fixes for added backdrop collision detection in scrolling games (needs testing)
    - Multiple Touch object: the "A new touch has started (number)" condition couldn't work correctly, it's removed
    - Multiple Touch object: new "Touch on an object" and "A touch is active on an object" conditions
    - Multiple Touch object: new pinch features

    Fixes in 257.20

    - Get object crash when it couldn't parse the received data as Unicode
    - VSync modifications to prevent the timers spiraling out of sync worsening framerates
    - Added backdrops weren't tested in CollisionMask() expression on the bottom layer
    - Broken CalcRect extension
    - A complete GameCenter multiplayer makeover, multiple tests ensuring the objects works nicely
    - The GameCenter Connect object now outputs any error code to the console during the connection process
    - An alert box is shown by the GameCenter Connect object if the application (from its bundle ID) has not been GameCenter enabled on iTunes connect
    - Complete makeover of the GameCenter Achievements object, making it really useable and practical. Improvement contains : Reset achievements list, Access to achievements by Index (and not only by ID), display of a completion banner when the achievement reaches 100 (this banner can be either the default Apple banner or a fully customizable banner)
    - The C++ emulation of the GameCenter Achivements object is now closer to what happens on the device

  • Are we going to have a new beta fixing problems with iOS 7 and supporting anything new as the API of gamepads support before Fusion 2.5?

    Be that they are like crazy, but they have a tentative date for Fusion 2.5? :)
