Replace a function with a loop!

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I was having trouble getting some of the function objects working for the Android export module, but I made a simple discovery: You can use a loop instead of a function. Just set the loop number to 1. Have any of you tried this?

Somewhat separately, I humbly suggest adding a built-in function option to a newer build of MMF2. Is this planned?

  • I think some other people have tried loops instead of functions, but another way is to activate a group of events that de-activates itself in the last event (the best part of the group of events method is that you can close event groups, so you don't have to see functions that you aren't actively programming).

Also, with MMF2.5 coming soon, it won't come before then for sure, but it might not even come then, as there isn't really a very big demand for it as far as I know, especially considering the alternatives that are already out there (one is the fastloop method that you mentioned, and the other is using a group of events (which I just mentioned)).

My Please login to see this link. (which I actually use), my Please login to see this link. (which I mostly don't use), and my Please login to see this link. (which I don't use anymore pretty much at all really). If there are awards for "'highest number of long forum posts", then I'd have probably won at least 1 by now. XD
