OpenGl ? how to get all opengl extensions?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi

I was looking for all opengl extensions! I got the ExtensionView program and tryed to get all opengl, but it dosent load or install them at all?
which page can you get all openGl plugins?

  • You need the included OpenGL.mfx file. However, it might not work for you even then, due to the extension being old, which, for some reason, makes MMF2 confused on newer versions of Windows (it seems to be because of newer versions of Windows, anyway, though it might just be newer versions of MMF2 causing the issue).

My Please login to see this link. (which I actually use), my Please login to see this link. (which I mostly don't use), and my Please login to see this link. (which I don't use anymore pretty much at all really). If there are awards for "'highest number of long forum posts", then I'd have probably won at least 1 by now. XD

  • Hi happygreenfrog

I tryed to find the OpenGL.mfx file on the net, and both ExtensionView and the extension site Please login to see this link. doesnt work!

Also this text is says: Make 3D stuff in MMF2. Uses OpenGL renderer. Excluded from the OpenGL collection. Abandoned.

The last word Abandoned. Hmmm what can I do if wanted to make 3D games in MMF.

Can someone upload OpenGL.mfx for me?

    Second: I needed

Opengl.mfx and Overlay.mfx and last Bigbox.mfx? to get it work right.

Those three mfx files doesnt work for me... help

    Thanks

How to open the mfa file if OpenGL.mfx isnt found (which happens with me) :

The opengl extension its self is quite buggy, For some people like me the extension doesnt even
show up in the exentions list but I got around it by:
    1) Make New App
    1) Click Insert Object
    2) In your Extensions list, if the Regular OpenGL object doesnt show up and you have it
in the mmf2 runtime/extentions folder Then click Add 'From File(s)' on the right above the
    Refresh button.
3)Select the OpenGL.mfx, (Nothing should show up)Then close the extentions dialog.
4)Go Back into Insert Object and Click the 'Refresh' Button
Now the Extensions should show up on the list as a purple cube. Add it to your app and
it should be added, Now you can open a mfa file using OpenGL.mfx

I can't get it work, Have CT plans for a better way of doing this?

  • You can get all the opengl extensions from nivram, and you can get them here Please login to see this link.
Also, Happygreenfrog discovered that you need glew32.dll in your runtime folder to use the extension. I hadnt checked this, as i already had the file in my folder , so i wasnt aware of this.
You can also get the bigbox extension here Please login to see this link.
and the overlay object here Please login to see this link.

  • Hello. I want to mess around with the OpenGL extensions. I got them a while ago, and I did what Path said in his readme file, but it doesn't work. I was wondering if anybody knew where I could find the extensions in case mine are out of date, and where I can find that glew32.dll thing. Note, I've already checked Path's Dropbox link, and for me it said it's temporarily unavailable. Considering I'm clicking a link back from 2013, I don't think I'm going to be getting that anytime soon.

  • I think u can get them here :
