New Physics on Android & IOs not work?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I have instaled MMF2.5 actualized to 280.28 with new Androd & iOs exporters.
I'm testing the tutorials TutorialPTFPhysicsENG.mfa with some physics examples, and work fine in PC, but when export to Android & iOs the Physics interactions don't work.

I need install any special extensions for Android & iOs?

    Thank you

  • You do want to be sure you run the version 2.5 installers for the export modules. If you imported in from 2.0 that didnt get you the new features.

Download the new installers from the owners lounges and use you old/existing module aerial numbers

  • I heve intalled the version 2.5 without import exporters from 2.0, and have installed the new exporters downloaded from owners lounges, and the Physics only work in pc

  • I get the same results as kiko. On the PC, it works fine but on the Smarthphone (Nexus5 - Android 4.4.2) not. Most of the objects fall through the rope.

    Here is a test file:

P.S.: If the rope breaks, it creates a very strange reaction.

  • Same here. I used spaceship physics movement and thrust does not work on Android but fine on Windows. Have provided an example in the bug tracker.

  • That the physics do not work at all I can not confirm. I have problems mainly with the rope. Blocks or vehicles simply fall through. On backgrounds or other activies it works.

By the way, that happens also with Android 4.3 on the Galaxy Nexus.

  • You should report any bugs in the bug tracker: Please login to see this link.

My Please login to see this link. (which I actually use), my Please login to see this link. (which I mostly don't use), and my Please login to see this link. (which I don't use anymore pretty much at all really). If there are awards for "'highest number of long forum posts", then I'd have probably won at least 1 by now. XD

  • Hi Josh, no that is a separate issue. The bug I reported it through may have been marked private.
