HOWTO make the Sub-application Object active/focused?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I try learn control MDI
    In main window I:

Create: The Sub-application Object, MDI child
    In that I put:
    a Rich Edit Object

My problem is how can I set focus, make the Sub-application Object active?

what is the call ID/name of: The Sub-application Object?

  • MDI Child is active by default.

Please check in your CF 2.5 Directory there is a MDI example you'll learn alot from it

C:\Program Files (x86)\Clickteam Fusion Developer 2.5\Examples\MDI Wordpad (in my pc)

  • the problem with that example is if u make MDI child window with the Rich Edit Object Maximized how can u chose an other MDI child window with the Rich Edit Object

I want to click file 3 and open MDI child window 3
    if I click file 17 I open/set focus to window 17

  • I see in the Example: MDI Wordpad
In Menu bar: "&Window" have "&Next" and "&Prev"
Under that is a list of all the MDI child window that is open

I can change as I want but I can't see any connection to the "&Next" and "&Prev"
So I still don't understand how they change/set active MDI child window

  • In the application properties you indicate the index of the Window menu, and Fusion responds to those menu items without you having to do anything.

Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3
