MMF 2.0 with its exporters already not be official support of Clickteam?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello to all my friends clickers and the staff of Clickteam,

I see with concern that is this leaving aside the mmf 2 for Fusion 2.5, and want to see if they think like me. The 2.0 is now a fairly stable version and exporters with some small problems or some shortcomings of news and the inclusion of advantages of the system 7 to all iOS goes well for the production of our apps.

I also worry that not been separated even the forum for concerns of exporters in 2.0 and 2.5.

I as many are in full development of our apps, and in my case they don't need physical movements (I think that the only difference between 2.0 and 2.5 in addition to the skins of the editors, but no gain in performance of our apps), therefore I can and I will finish my games in 2.0 while they are tweaking and polishing many details that has version 2.5.

Now is that they are busy with this, but we have a drought of updates for version 2.0 and that us halts in some things, I propose to maintain 2 support teams to advance in 2.0 that insurance is the largest installed base of users having Clickteam. The aim of this thread is to help and not to criticize, I just feel a bit abandoned and it seems to me that someone has to say.

Greetings to all and I wish you a happy year 2014! :)

    Sorry my english!

  • I have not noticed it. Do in Android and iOS it feel not equal?

Although theme and it is what I want to point out, is that it is not abandoned 2.0 exporters are updated to be able to continue producing apps.

    Happy New Year Zem! :)

  • I have compiled two sets of mine both 2.0 and 2.5 and the performance is the same, but again the issue is not this, but wait a Ckickteam position on the support of the MMF2.0 and their exporters, I think that exporters but mistake not have been updated in a couple of months, and I do not think prudent or fair that developers using 2.0 are forgotten. Eye, I have my license 2.5, and I'm sure that in a few months will be a very stable product, but at this time isn't it and there are bugs in the PC, both iOS and Android. That's going to improve, but it is going to take, at that time MMF 2.0 must be running perfectly for them that they have been developing in it.

  • I am aware they'll be a forum refresh at some point, which will separate Multimedia Fusion 2.0 and Clickteam Fusion 2.5 support -- which will stop confusion between bugs/issues in one product/exporter and not the other and vice versa. Clickteam have been really busy with other things at the moment as far as I'm aware.

Happy new year to you too!

  • Forum update should be pretty quick here now maybe a day or 2.

MMF 2.0 will be around for another couple years as is is still widely used in education and they are slow to update their materials.

The main focus of updates will of course be on version 2.5 but if something is spotted that is easy to fix in 2.0 some updates might be issued... but remember the main update to 2.0 is 2.5.....

  • Just a note that there has been a significant improvement in the performance of fastloops for 2.5. If your games/apps use them even in moderation you may notice significant improvements in runtime speed, in addition to other improvements in the various runtimes too.
