In need of help with Ouya Controls

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Hi guys and gals. I need a little bit of help. I am using Clickteam Fusion 2.5 (with android/ouya exporter of course) and I am having issues of getting any simple ouya control response from my game. I've scoured the net for help and alot of stuff is "here... look what I did and figure it out". I'm not exactly like that. I need a bit of guidance and show how said things were accomplished. So please if anyone is working with CF2.5, tell me or show me where, how do I simply get it to go to next frame and move my character simply left and right on x-axis? Thanks in advance.

    For what I have done:

I have used what functionality is available with the ouya object. But I am at bit of a loss. I used (On pressed o button) but it doesn't go to next frame. I swear I'm not an idiot but I need a little more than figure out yourself deals. Something with extreme detail.

I bought this software for the sole purpose to program for the Ouya, and I would like to know everything about this as much as possible.... please. :)

Thank you anyone for the help.

  • Hi,

you need to add OUYA object in the frame, and with this you will have the ability to read all buttons, joystick, etc.

inside your application after read Button O pressed (Condition/Event) do jump to next frame or jump to # (action)

  • Thanks for the advice FVivolo, but I know I had to add the ouya object. My games has 3 frames to it, and the ouya object is in everyone of them. I know one object doesn't affect the whole project.
