CF 2.5 - Make an inventory like Minecraft or Starbound

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    Hi!

    I'm trying to do an inventory like Minecraft or Starbound for my survival / rpg game, but I find it quite hard to do. I searched on the forum but I did not find anything I can use.

    I want to know what is the best and simplest way to do a solid inventory.

    Is there an extension to make inventories (inventory object), but I do not know how to do the inventory what I need with this extension. I saw the examples of the "inventory object" but these are not solid and have many bugs, then I ask, is this a reliable extension to do what I want?

    I'm starting to get frustrated that it is so difficult to do something as simple and essential as an inventory. I greatly appreciate some help to achieve this.

    Array and fastloops. Array for placing items in the inventory, fastloops to check for empty spaces / items available to stack.

    P.S I am making an RPG game and I will make an inventory soon.

    Don't know how well this tutorial has aged, but it might have some decent info in there. I don't think it was ever finished completely though. :I
