KeyStore Generator Tool

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi - I'm sorry - I guess I am just not as bright as the standard user. I am 71 yrs old... that may have something to do with it, LOL.
Anyway, I am having troubled transcribing info from the KeyStore Tool (v. 1.2) screen to the Release mode fields in MMF Dev. 2.5 Build 291.5
Here is how I transcribe the items...

Android Keystore Tool -----------> MMF Dev. 2.5 Release Options
    1) KeyStore File (Destination) Keystore name
    ex. c:\abc.keystore ex. abc.keystore
    2) ALIAS -----------> Key name
    ex. abcapps ex. abcapps
    3) Store Password -----------> Keystore Password
    ex. doggie1844 ex. doggie1844
    4) Key Password -----------> Key Password
    ex. kitty1945 ex. kitty1945
    Is this all correct? Thanks.

  • Hi there, I have done everything the 2.0 version has asked me to do, and when I click build that console window pops up and quicklys closes. Then a message pops up some code based of what I input. But when I check my folder it's empty. I tried multiple locations. I run as administrator and have the newest jdk

  • If you don't want to use the cmdline you can check out this tool, its really convenient to use.

  • Ok so now I got the keystore created through commands but now it demands the app bundle file. I currently use the steam version and hope it comes out soon for it. Right now I'm downloading the 292.8 beta off the forum page

Edit: That's just an updater will that install over the steam edition one? Or can I link my steam purchase to my account here so I don't have to re-buy the developer edition

  • Can the Keystore tool be used to create the app signing key that Google Play requires for app bundles? If not is there any other simple way of creating them if you know nothing about Java programming?

  • What do you mean by that? Can you maybe explain a bit better? I exportet with version 29.

Then you exported.. That's all there is.. unless you are talking about something else.
it's 64 bit compatible for Android and IOS.

But I see you are using Fusion 2.0 Dev so idk... I use 2.5 Dev

Thx again Perry. The thing is - when I upload the apk export to google play - it still tells me the same error: that my 64 Bit version is missing.
