Objects are out of order in the SWF exports

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • In the game, they're in the right order. In the quick build, they're in the right order. But in the SWF export file, objects are randomly backwards.

Truly this will be a classic game. Where the side of a cliff stands out in front of the trees next to it.

  • Hi, I couldn't find a solution for this problem yet, the objects I had problem with needed to be on top of everything so I simply added an event to always have them on top of everything and that worked.

These are the things that the problematic objects had in common: big objects, alpha channels, exported from a PNG file created in Photoshop.

Some things you could test and I didn't have the chance to test: deleting the problematic object and creating one with the same image. Saving your images in a different program (not PS).

Let me know if you try some of those and work, I'm at the moment a bit busy but I'll see if I can try to find a solution later.

  • You might need to send this MFA file (or one that demonstrates the problem) to the bug trackers.
Then Francois can take a look and see why its doing this. I doubt you can fix it if the Windows EXE runs right -- Its an export module issue.
