SQLite3 and SQLite3 PRO for Clickteam Fusion 2.5

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi,

SQLite 3 (for Standard) and SQLite3 PRO (for Developer) are now available in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Extension Manager.
There isn't a Unicode version yet but I'll start working on it as soon as I can.

If the demand for the Unicode version is high I'll try to give it a higher priority.

Both extensions were tested from manager on different computers.
Please let me know if you find any issues or have some suggestions.

    Best regards,

    Andre Guerreiro Neto (byo)

  • Hi, crayzorechos.

The conversion won't take much time but right now I can't say for sure when it's going to be available.
If your project demands it, I'll send you a PM with the beta in the future so you can try it first.

    Best regards,

    Andre Guerreiro Neto (byo)

  • SQL works almost the same regardless of the database system you use. The syntax for SQLite, MySQL, and other SQL based system is almost the same. I don't know any video tutorial perhaps searching the web may help.

  • Did the Unicode version ever eventuate? Got problems ordering results on a Unicode dataset. (Work around is read results into an object and sort them there) - but some results may be obscured.

    - Or is there another option, like ODBC?

Also apols for digging up a long dead thread.

  • Or is there another option, like ODBC?

SQL ODBC object (my one) is the most recent SQL ext, and I believe it can handle Unicode text. Been a while since I worked on it, though.

  • Thanks Phi yes, aware of your Patreon, I know you have other cool stuff locked away in there too. Thanks for making me re-aware of it :D Jumped right in!

Excuse: I stuck this issue on the backlog and have finally returned to it.

And apologies I missed your response, really don't check in here often enough!

  • Further research, as the DB is Sqlite, generated by another app (Mediamonkey) that I can probably use this driver: Please login to see this link., some mucking around in ODBC admin and potentially your object.. (Heaps of problems trying to automate it into mysql or something more sensible, lots of rows and complications) Got any more info on your object? Probably just willing to try it out, as the web query one is also interesting. ;)
