Launch an object (How to control movement)

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • When using "Launch and object", is there any way to stop or control the movement? If you leave the object movement as "static" there are no options but if you give the object a movement there is no effect when giving it a stop command.

  • You can try using a bouncing ball movement, that's what i do and it works fine. Just set your launch event like normal, but add the direction to your code that you want it to go in. Then at whatever point you want it to stop, for example like an enemy, player, wall etc just set an event that says when it collides with x object - destroy.
