Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I'm looking to do some sort of 8 directional bounce. My characters are going to be moving with the 8 direction and bouncing ball so they will be moving around in a top down view. What I'd like to achieve is when an enemy dies, coins fly out and bounce on the ground. The coins or objects will need to be able to spill out in 8 directions but also "bounce" on the ground as they decelerate. I assume this is the way the rings work in Sonic 3d Blast. Is there an easy way to do this?

  • An isometric bounce is a completely different beast from a 'top down view'.

Im sure others would have better suggestions but to me the key of the problem would be the shadows.
Shoot the shadows our from the origin spot and track the bouncing coins to them.

  • Yeah I was having a hard time describing what I was going for. My game is kind of a 8 direction shooter but I guess the coins would bounce isometrically.

I will try to track the bouncing coins to the shadows and see what happens. Thanks for the sugestion!

  • great to see you're diving into this biznessMan. I can help you out, but I need to ask you a few questions?

Is your navigation-system Euler, Quternum or directionMatrix -based? and have you achieved Free-movement so far?
