Problem Exporting to Flash

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi. Still pretty new to this. I made a MMF2 game that is a puzzle/platform game. It worked well. But when I changed it into a flash file (using Clickteams' flash exporter), I had problems. It started okay, but at a certain level, the speed of an object decreased. I used a question and answer object and in some levels the question didn't show up but when I clicked around, I found out I could click the answer but it was not visible. Thanks for any help!

The speed problem sounds like to much memory resources are being used by your game in the browser, and it could be a number of different things. Try playing just the flash file (swf) outside of the browser. Try to isolate the problem as well. Reduce your project events (null) by using the "Never" in the special object. Add this "Never" to some event lines that you feel might be causing the problem, and build the flash and test. You might upload a sample file for others to test along with you.

    Good luck

  • Are you sure that you do not create objects in the background, and that the total number of objects does not reach high values?
To be sure : run your application from MMF2, and watch the number of objects displayed in the title bar of the debugger.
