Hello so i know this has been answered before but i tried it and it didnt work as well in 2.5
Im creating a castle defense game where enemies run in from the left and you shoot them before they get to you. I want to create a health bar above each enemy that will tick down. Some enemies will take 5 bullet others 3. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Cant you just create your health bars (individual for each enemy) and set their positions above the enemies? Once the counter reaches 0 destroy it along with the enemy. Or you could destroy the enemy and set the counter position outside the play field, set the counter to 5 or 3 again and when that enemy is created again the counter will automatically move to that enemy. I don't know if this is the best way, but I'm sure it would work.

Fusion will handle this automatically for you.. say you have 10 enemies, you need to create 10 counters and then
always - set x/y of energy bar to x/y of enemy
and
always - set counter value to "health"(alterable value) of the enemy.easy.

Yeah, you are right. Made a simple example of what you said.

Thanks alot guys! this fixed it right up:)

Hey KliK-iT, Nice example!
I hope you don't mind, I changed it ever so slightly so that there is only one counter, and uses a fastloop to create new counters. It is attached.

I never mind anyone messing with my examples. It's always good to learn how others do things. I'll check it out. Thank you.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but after trying some of the examples and trying to accomplish this myself I'm trying to figure out how to only show the HP above an item that is selected?
eg. click on a wall and the HP of the wall will be shown above it?Here is what i have so far:

macca02 for this you only need one counter bar that sets its value to the alt. value (HP) and its position to whatever you click on.

Thanks Solar! For some reason i got caught up assigning a HP bar to each object, when as you said all i need is one!
