How to test on your Iphone?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • There's no short answer, but in a nutshell, you need an Apple Developer account ($99 yearly fee), a Mac computer with one of the latest OSX, and going through a confusing and tedious process to sign your file and deploy it to your iPhone. Search the forums for more details.

  • it has gotten a lot easier than it was.. though it's still an unnecessarily convoluted process for no good reason... once you have an Apple developer account the provisioning portal/wizard is fairly self explanatory, just make sure you take your time and follow all the steps, don't try and rush through it..

I haven't used the iOS exporter in like 6 months.. I cringe at the thought of updating Xcode + my provisioning profiles/key chains/other inexplicable hoops Apple probably want me to jump through.

  • I just provisioned my iPod touch for the first time with a brand new mac. It wasn't as bad as it used to be I don't think.
You provision right from Xcode. Just find your device and click "Use as a development device" or something like that and it activates it for deployment
