Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hey there,

Honestly, this topic is over my current skill level, however I would like to start wrapping my head around the concept of a Procedurally Generated World.
Think MineCraft or StarBound or Diablo II - games that use randomly generated maps.

Can anyone lend some information on how this could be achieved in Fusion 2.5.

    Just a curious noob...

  • I've just been playing around with this and found some great examples by MuddyMole from a while back. Posted my efforts in the 'examples' section.

  • I am quite interested in this as well, I don't suppose you could post a link if you get a chance SolarB? Searched the Examples section but couldn't find your post or any of the MuddyMole stuff!

  • I just posted it today so it might take the mods a while to approve it. The original link was Please login to see this link. which will also take you to all of Sketchy/MuddyMole's examples. That man should be awarded a medal.

  • The live drive belongs to Muddy and I'm sure he wouldn't have made it available if he didn't want people downloading files :)

My example is a mix of some of his old ones and is here: Please login to see this link.

  • This is sweet thanks SolarB! To Muddy thanks also if you are reading this! The best I have done with this sorta think is randomly spawning platforms in a block running type game. This will be a nice step up.

  • Cheers guys - and yeah, help yourself to anything in my skydrive account :)

btw: Most of my better examples are available from: Please login to see this link. - it's a bit more organized, and includes short descriptions of the examples, plus code snippets, pixel shaders and links to some useful free tools.
Unfortunately, I can't update it because IIRC the web host stopped accepting .zip and .mfa files, and plus I forgot my login details...

  • I always like to advocate this little blog post here: Please login to see this link.

It doesn't speak about Fusion in particular, but the logic carries through to all programming.
