Lighting Effects supported in the android exporter without HWA

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi Guys!

I have a doubt about to make lighting FX in clickteam fusion, and i need to make sure it'll be supported for exporting to android. I want to know what types of lighting effects will be available for my ideia. My idea consists into a room with a dark object overlapping it, and the hero of my game need to be involved with a mask that works like a spotlight, allowing a certain area to be visible. Also, i need to do this same thing with some torchs that will be placed in the scenery.

    What can I do? Thanks!

  • Welcome to the forum! :D

I think that ADD and SUBTRACT effect in layer doesn't work in Android Exporter. But, wait for someone who can give you the correct answer. But... you can do this "manually", using a big Active Object with hole in the middle.

BUT, you can apply ADD and SUBTRACT in actives :) So, you can do the torchs using actives to make the shine.

    (Sorry for my English)

  • Ls2 it's correct,

    "HWA features

The graphic engine of the Android runtime is hardware accelerated, it supports some of the HWA features of Clickteam Fusion 2.5, including the Blending and RGB coefficients. It doesn't support shaders, layer effect or frame effects."

  • Thank you Ls2, I'll try to do this, it seems so simple to solve this trouble after a good explanation hahaha, and your english is more than enough to understand. If it work i'll leave the result here.
