What's a good, safe way to share files?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I'm wondering what a good way to share files with people is.

Specifically, I've created an account with another website, Deviantart, and I'm wanting to know a website that I could link to where they can download my example files? Any idea's?

  • If you don't have your own webspace (check your provider - does this still happen, or did it stop in the 90s...?) then you could use Dropbox as a file store - I mostly use it for sharing files between my own computers, but you can give out links so that people can access files or folders.

  • Hm yeah I am familiar with Drop Box for sharing files with myself, I hadn't thought of using share links on the web. That might be an idea, though I wonder if there's any security risks to that?

  • I've actually just been recently told that Drop Box is not very secure as they can view all of your files and there apparently was an issue recently where everyone could see everyone's files.

So I think I'll need another option.
