Area of Effect Damage

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

  • Hi guys so im designing a game where the character can purchase an rpg and it does explosion damage in an area. What i have right now is it explode and then miniature bullets explode out from that position doing damage. The problem is i cant control how far they spread and im not sure if this is the best way to do this. If anyone has any insight i would be very grateful.

  • You could create an invisible active at the point of explosion. Make the active into a circle in the size you want the explosion to be.

    Then simply use an overlap event to detect who will take damage.
