R-Type Enemy Loop Example

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Here is an example how to create an enemy loop, the attacks are divided in 3 groups.
You can easily change the attack mode by changing a counter. Or just leave it automatic.

  • Thanks for this Sparkman. This is just the type of game I am working on and wanted to learn how to do the R-Type style auto scrolling. I downloaded the example and got most things working, but I can't see in the example how you make the ship move along with the camera if you are not controlling it?
Could you please tell me how that is done?

  • No reason lol other than just make it very obvious what's happening in the background.
But yes it you can use alterable variables instead. XD
