All my applications crash upon exiting in Windows 8.1

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I personally haven't had this issue. Maybe it's a bug in "End Application"? I haven't used it for a while, so it could be the issue. Also, you should uncheck compress the runtime anyway, since otherwise, virus scanners will think your program is a virus, and that is no good.

How do you end the application without using "end application?" I'm having the same crash issue.

  • Are you using the latest MMF2/CF2.5 build? Also, bumping old threads like that isn't a great idea.

Also, I think the crash (or at least a similar crash) may have been fixed in CF2.5's latest build.

  • Sorry - usually post on the mmf2 forums. A couple of months there is "recent."

Still using MMF2. My crash comes every time I use ultimatefullscreen. Has that been fixed in the update? Do you think upgrading will fix the problem?

  • Ultimate Fullscreen, huh? I don't know what's causing that. It's an issue with a 3rd-party extension, so I doubt the update fixed the crash (it definitely wasn't the crash I was thinking of). However, I personally haven't had it crash on me in CF2.5, so it's entirely possible that it got updated at one point in a way that broke it in MMF2 that didn't break it in CF2.5, or it's possible that one of us is using an older version of the object.
