iOS Screen Capture extension v1.2 for Fusion 2.5

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • On my phone? 10.2 I think, or something like that. I'll have a play around tonight and see if I can figure it out. I'll test your examples on my phone outright too and see if they work.

  • Kritter - I've just tried my app, Paper Face, on an iPad Air running iOS 10.1.1 that uses this extension, and it works fine. I doubt iOS 10.2 would have made such a significant change.
Maybe it's something in a newer version of Xcode or Fusion? If you can tell me which versions of these you're using it may help.

Sorry I can't be of more help at the moment, I'll try to have a more in depth look at the weekend.

  • Xcode is 8.2.1 I think and CTF is the latest one on Steam I think so R288.3.

I think it's all fairly standard stuff. Would having layers affect the extension? Because my app uses a lot of layers.

  • Kritter - I rebuilt my Xcode Paper Face project using Xcode 8.2.1 and it works fine on my iPad Air running iOS 10.1.1 using deployment target iOS 6.1 and also tried with deployment target 10.1, so I doubt it's the extension's Xcode files.
I'll try re-exporting from Fusion on my PC later this weekend. I've never tried it with the Steam version, so maybe that's a factor?

  • I tested your examples on my phone and they save images just fine, so I'm at a loss for what I've done wrong. Seems like no matter what I try, I end up with just a black image.

  • Strange... Might be some setting in your Fusion project?
If you want to send me your files for me to look at, I'll see what I can do. Either upload them in this thread, or I'll PM you my email address and you can send them via email.

  • Send me your email if you could. I don't know what settings could be different, I changed them to match your examples to see if that was the issue but no dice. The only difference I can see in Xcode is mine pops up with Metal GPU Frame Capture Enabled and Metal API Validation Enabled when I take a screen in-game.

  • Turns out Kritter's problem was a List object off screen that was set to visible. Making it hidden at start solved the problem and allowed the Screen Capture to work properly!
