Making the Rich Edit Object lose focus

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Does anybody know how to make the Rich Edit Object lose focus? I've been looking throught its actions and can't find it anywhere. There's a "Set Focus" under Control/Window, but no action for losing focus. It should be possible somehow according to Please login to see this link..

  • Depending what your trying to do here's a tip
straight from the help file under "The Rich Edit Object - Actions - Control"

    • Auto Focus

      • On : automatically gives the input focus to the object when some actions are processed.
      • Off : no automatic focus, the object gets the focus only when it's clicked or when the Set Focus action is used.

Otherwise working solution to taking focus off the rich edit Object can be done by disable rich edit window and then enable window under the Control/Window or hide rich edit object then show again.
    ;)

    Life is a Duel.

  • Ok thank you ! I used an other rich edit object which I give focus in order to make my first REO lose focus. But now that I read you and that I discovered I can unable REO to change color when deactivated, I will go for your solution.
