New extension idea : Gradient Ramp Object

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi

One interesting idea by the way for developers

Create an extension allows to create some various gradient type (like in Photoshop)

    • Gradient Style : Linear, Radial, Angle, Reflected and Diamond
    • Ramp : Set Start/End points and add/change/delete cue points
    • Size/Offset : Set offset, set width/height, set position and set scale.
    • etc...

  • I thought shaders would be better suited to this - can't you set shader parameters from events? (I haven't ever used shaders due to a bad gfx card) If not, then why not add this functionality to Looki's Surface object? I think Surface can already do some simple gradients.

EDIT: If the goal is cross-platform, then my above suggestions obviously don't apply.

Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3
