pixalate and zoom transition - example

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Here is how you can make a simple pixalate and zoom transition super easy
the idea is to overlay an active object and play an animation -- this would work for anything
it all depends on the animation you create.

  • This example doesn't mosaic-pixelate the objects, it's really just two zoom transitions. Couldn't the viewport object be used to display a screen-capture of the playfield and then gradually lower the resolution/shrink the captured image to perform this effect properly?

here's an example of a proper Mosaic-pixelation transition from the dos game "Weird dreams" Skip to 12.05 to view the effect.
