Any update to this? I've noticed this issue before and ignored it by not using smooth resizing, now for my new game, smooth resizing is vital otherwise the edges just look bad on some Android devices. I don't particularly want to overlap active objects just to remove gaps in-between actives that are next to each other - this bug has become a huge pain.
EDIT:
I've now attached 2 photos showing the same MFA, one with smooth resizing and one without.
Smooth resizing turned on causes the single pixel background to be stretched incorrectly and there is a horizontal line gap in the middle of the hexagons. Both foreground objects have alpha channels. On iOS, none of this happens.
