Street Fighter II - Clickteam Fusion 2.5 - Tutorial

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Here is how you can create a Street Fighter II fan game very easy with Clickteam Fusion.
For fan games most people just use the actual sprites. Even-though you cannot commercialize
fan games, the experience of reconstructing these games can actually serve as a score card
to test your game development skills. :D give it a try.

  • Looks pretty good. Seems like you've only got one character animated so far. I think most people trip up when trying to get two characters fighting each other. This is because you need hitboxes/hurt boxes and Fusions default fine collision detection isn't meant to be used for fighting games.

I'd like to see a video that actually tackles the hitbox/hurtbox issue if you feel like expanding the video series. I feel it can be done quite elegantly with some effort and would basically unlock the key to fighting games that causes most users to give up on them.
