Scarlet Sword - MMORPG made with Multimedia Fusion 2

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello!

A couple of years ago I wrote an MMORPG in Multimedia Fusion 2, making heavy use of the Flash exporter, the Lacewing extension, and pyLacewing on the serverside.

I wrote a couple of articles about the development of the game, and what it was like to release an MMORPG.

  • Thanks for sharing. Back in the day I helped Code6226 with his MORPG SmileyHouse in MMF, and it was a fun experience helping to create a world and then see other people inhabit it.

  • I remember SmileyHouse! It was a MooClick/MooSock thing, if I recall correctly. Was it a sandbox-type thing? I think it might have been one of the first sandbox games I ever played.

  • Yes, it used Moo. SmileyHouse wasn't sandbox in the procedurally generated sense, but it was pretty open and unstructured. The source code is available from Please login to see this link. (but be aware that it uses a lot of old-school extensions).
