A couple of years ago I wrote an MMORPG in Multimedia Fusion 2, making heavy use of the Flash exporter, the Lacewing extension, and pyLacewing on the serverside.
I wrote a couple of articles about the development of the game, and what it was like to release an MMORPG.
I'll be about if anyone has any questions those articles don't answer. 
Thanks for sharing. Back in the day I helped Code6226 with his MORPG SmileyHouse in MMF, and it was a fun experience helping to create a world and then see other people inhabit it.
Yes, it used Moo. SmileyHouse wasn't sandbox in the procedurally generated sense, but it was pretty open and unstructured. The source code is available from Please login to see this link. (but be aware that it uses a lot of old-school extensions).
