Multiple Ports using SWF

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi again everyone.

    I have stuck in a wall that I can't find a solution right now.

    Mmf2 SWF standard can't work with channels so I had the idea to divide players by ports, each port would be a stand-alone application that would run the game in my VPS. It worked when using PC but when it comes to flash, I can't find a turn around regarding the Flash Policy file. It seens that I can only use one XML per IP, and I'm stuck, I even tried to create one XML per application to see if that could work, but only the first server will open and run the XML. ?

    Even worse: I can't even host more than one game in my VPS since the XML port will be busy with only one protocol.

    Is there a turn around? thanks a lot.

  • But I can't seen to make it work?

    This goes like this:

    Server 1= port:6001 hosting XML
    Server 2= port:6002 NOT hosting XML

    Game 1= Connect to port:6001= ONLINE
    Game 2= Connect to port:6002= OFFLINE

    Here is my XML:

    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "Please login to see this link.">
    <cross-domain-policy>
    <allow-access-from domain="*" to-ports="6001"/>
    <allow-access-from domain="*" to-ports="583"/>
    </cross-domain-policy>
