EDIT: I can't delete this, oh well.

EDIT: It seems to be because I am trying to link to the cURL website? If you google it, the URL seems like it might be getting picked up by an automatic filter.

I even tried using a URL shortener to disguise the link and it still won't let me post it.

Hmm... did you try with another link to another URL yet to see whether it is all URLs, or just that specific end destination URL?

EDIT: I was able to post a reply to that topic by rephrasing my post to not include that word. Links are fine.

I tried to send you a PM with the word in it, but that also doesn't work. If I have it in the reply box and I click Go Advanced, I also run into an error. When I was first trying, the errors were forum messages about bad security tokens or failed file uploads, but now I just get Chrome's built in ERR_CONNECTION_RESET message. I don't even know if it's relevant, but before I was using Chrome 43 and now I am using Chrome 44.

I'm at a loss... I have logged in as you to try all of the scenarios you report caused you an issue, I simply cannot replicate these issues. Could you please try from an alternative browser to see whether you get the same issues please?

I just tried with Internet Explorer 11 with addons disabled, same issue. It is weird because I can use the word on other sites without issue, so I don't think it's something with my router, modem, or ISP. :\

EDIT: I tried on my Chromebook, no go there either.

No indeed, that doesn't seem to make sense. Are you able to tether your mobile for internet to try on an alternative connection? Does this also happen on your mobile phone browser? I'm so puzzled by this one that we'll need to methodically eliminate things to find the root cause...

This happens to me as well it seems (Safari and Chrome on a Mac). If I type "l i b r a r y" (without spaces) into the Quick Reply box, and then click on Go Advanced, cursor changes to a hand, and the rest of the page stops being responsive (links don't work).

Also happens on the mobile site (tried using my mobile network) - if I try and preview a post with that word in it, the preview doesn't load. Taking a letter out of that word and then clicking preview again will load the preview.

I'm watching my JavaScript console for errors this time: library test

EDIT: I don't know how I made this post, I've been trying a bunch of different things and it suddenly worked after not working dozens of times!

EDIT: As far as I can tell the problem fixed itself on all my devices as I was testing, for no reason that I can see.

Er, well... I'm even more confused now! XD

I've checked language filters, SEO friendly URL systems and anything which could possibly cause an issue, I just don't see any instance of "library" anywhere.

Has anyone ever noticed this with other words?

It seems that having library in the URL messes up all pages on community.clickteam.com, even those outside of the main forum. As such, my guess is that it is a .htaccess or mod_rewrite rule that is the issue.

LB: I think it depends on how you send it, e.g. if I use Quick Reply I can't say it but if I am modifying one of my own posts via the in-line editor then I can.

Edit: Even pressing 'edit' doesn't always work...

Update: Problem also occurs in bugbox, e.g. search facility.

So for me, any query with the this word takes a really long time. When I try to edit my above post, I get a grayed out content box. Furthermore, check out this image.

I already confirmed no htaccess issues, but this wouldn't explain why it only affects some users anyway. Something more screwy is happening...
