Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • Alrighty guys, after 300+ hours of working on my new Android App... I have an official trailer. I will be using this video and submitting it to websites to try to get an early start on marketing. This game should be super fun and addicting since the difficulty is rather high.

    I would like to thank everyone who has provided excellent feedback on some questions regarding the programming details of Fusion 2.5.

    Although a lot of examples were educational... I actually just found it easier to create objects during an event, then randomly select the objects and send them to a location with a direction... I avoided complicated lists. hahaha.

    PS. I sure hope transitions (zoom, zoom2, scrolling, fade, etc) work in the near future... or this will be a HUGE pain in the @$&!

  • Hey, Thanks Keith! Working super hard over here to try to have a legit product for the Android and Apple market. I really appreciate you and everyone who's helped out with all my questions. This is indeed my first project and I'm new to Fusion so I hope I can keep learning a lot to improve.

    I will be out of town for 2 weeks so although it's important I am a little sad I will be away from my desk/project but I will return ready to crank out the remaining stages and put the finishing touches on it. Thanks for taking a peak, I appreciate it. =]

  • Robitca, if your planning to go to Android with this game I would advise you to test it out and make sure creating and destroying objects is going to work out for you.
    It can be very expensive on your FPS on Android as the garbage collections routines seem to cause a FPS hit.

  • Hi Jeff, Yes I am doing testing on a mobile device as well. That's how I found out that Transitions (Zoom, Zoom2, Scroll, Fade) DO NOT work and simply get ignored with the Fusion Android Exporter. I'm gambling that Fernando can update Fusion to actually transfer those wonderful visuals to the APK files... if not then I will have a huge nightmare at my hands at the end of the project. lol.

    I would still encourage you to experiment and maybe emulate the transitions with events or some graphic work.
    It might be a case where you need Fernando to port less before you can release and it could speed up your timeline at least.

    Yes, I will definitely do more experimenting with manual transitions later. Just trying to focus on completion for now.
