Build 285.1 - Beta version

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I find this extremely troubling. Any ideas?

  • Well, my best guess is that "a couple of fixes" doesn't necessarily mean "a couple of MINOR fixes", so it's possible that the fixes they want to implement are major fixes... Ya never know. :)

My Please login to see this link. (which I actually use), my Please login to see this link. (which I mostly don't use), and my Please login to see this link. (which I don't use anymore pretty much at all really). If there are awards for "'highest number of long forum posts", then I'd have probably won at least 1 by now. XD

  • @ MagnetoX Yes IOS Exporter.. Some issues are fixed from what I know.. and more related to the Ipad pro. and hopefully also Xcode 7.

But my Ipad pro users are complaining about buttons and images shifted... (and that was fixed)

SubApp issue with Ipad Pro as well. (not sure if that was fixed)

  • I think they have been busy preparing Fusion 3 for upcoming GDC... and Fernando is the only dev that I've seen pretty active developing Android build.

  • Sorry we are all active here, only that some of us are focus in a specific products or new product (don't you guys?, are you anxious with F3?, I am), so be sure we are all working to give you a better products each day.

    Regards,

... new things are coming ...

  • I think the frustration is coming in place with the statement in November from Yves wrapping up a few bugs.
Then IOS is failing for Ipad Pro, Xcode 7.x (more settings and changes) and some items not working.
Now they are working on IOS 9.3 Beta and IOS 10.x Beta... So time goes fast.

Then Google throws out there message about their security, so now things piling up, and no update is coming.

  • Is iOS currently a mess? I want to start converting a Windows program to iPad, which isn't gonna be a quick process, but in terrified it won't be stable due to all the iOS shifting and Clickteam having to keep up with it all. Apple makes things tricky!

  • It is not a disaster, nor to do so, it is more I dare say that it is one of the best exporters because they go directly to Xcode.

What happens is that she has not been updated for quite some time and has problems with Xcode 7 and some reported bugs that have not been resolved.

Anders has always been the leader of the project but now is too busy with F3 and need to spend you time to resolve issues at F2.5

  • I released an iOS app a few years ago and I remember it being quite a pain getting up to speed with Xcode and all that Apple required...then they changed the playing field without notice! It's that sort of upkeep I'm not looking forward to, especially with Clickteam being a necessary middleman. Not that I have any blame for them. It's not easy for me to keep up with Apple and I know Clickteam is just trying to do the same.
