SETUP Android SDK/ JAVA JDK - How to export to android - Tutorial

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • The latest versions require new api's etc.. no more old ones needed.
    Custom SDK....
Use the official SDK that you download with the SDK manager. Don't point to the Android Studio.. that ain't gonna work

  • What is the highest API of the Android SDK Fusion supports at the moment? I haven't updated my app in a while, but Google just sent me an email saying that apps are required to target Android Oreo(API 26) or higher soon, and mine only targets API 14. It said new apps won't be allowed to be submitted that don't support API 26, and it also sounds like apps that target older API's might be removed from the store. Or it might just not let me update in future, not sure yet.

Any answers to the latest supported API?

Edit: Reading further on the Please login to see this link., it sounds like they won't take down old apps, but only prevent updates from apps that or new apps that don't target the latest API.

It also sounds like new apps will be forced to be 64-bit, like iOS did a while back. Can Fusion support this now also?

  • Ok thanks. And do you know if people with newer phones can download apps even if the app doesn't support the latest API? I'm assuming so. Like if I only support API 8 and someone has API 27, can they still download it?
