Destroy object after given time

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I used to use Construct 2 to make experimental games and I'm wondering about something.

Construct 2 has an object wich allows to fade out object and destroy it when it is completly invisible.
Is there any kind of object in Fusion wich allows to do the same thing, or I'll have to use event editor?

  • Hi there! There are different ways to do this I'm sure but one way I can think of is to say in the event editor

Is Object invisible? then under the object choose Destroy

There are fade in/out things you can do, one way I know only works with Windows. if you go under the Properties tab of the object and go down to the bottom there is a Transitions section you can play around with that lets you Fade in and Out. Another way to do it would be to use the Event editor under the object and go to Effect -> Compatibility -> Set semi-Transparency. If you used it that way there would be more to it to make it fade out slowly but that's one way to get started!

    Here is a fade example!:
