Anyone here currently working on a big project~? What kind of project is it, if you don't mind me asking? Platformer? Rpg? Puzzle? Run'n'gun? Something a little more unique? If you don't feel like sharing, that's fine too, I just wanted to find a way to break the ice and get to know the community a little better~
Hi again everyone, how are ya~?
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I used to be heavily involved with clickteam products a few years ago. Most of my projects were never completed and became unfinished snippets of code and sprites that I occasionally reuse for future projects. Usually I like creating engines separately that I try to merge together into a game. For example I've made a custom A* path finding engine (you can see the YouTube video in my signature), minimaps, weapon switching similar to half life, 360 shooting, drifting car engines, weather features, etc.
Recently in the past few years I've been working on online coding using the Lacewing object. I created an online pictonary game and tried to create an online zombie game but it became too much for me to handle.
I've just started to get back into using Fusion. Right now I'm thinking on making an online paintball game.

I'm currently working on PLANETS: Play Mode, which is a game where you have to go to different planets and get a gem from each.
I have finished Mercury and Venus: Please login to see this link.
I also just got the HTML5 Exporter in the sale and put all of my games on HTML5.

I'm getting close to finishing a 2D golf game. It's my first completed Fusion game
To be honest it was too big a project for just one guy. I like to create all assets myself but doing all backgrounds, animations, UI, sounds and music on my own turned out to be far more time consuming than i expected and even worse, bug hunting and polishing is taking ages
It has been a great learning experience though which was always the main reason for doing it. I feel i'm better equipped when i start my next game, which will very likely be of lesser scope
I think i will either release the golf game for free as a download, keep it on my website where it already is playable or maybe upload it to webportals. I doubt i will release it on mobile platforms for now
What are you working on?

I'm working on a retro-style 2D platformer- powerups and environment interactions are going to play a big part in it. It's fairly early in development as of now, nothing I'd toot my own horn about yet. It's probably going to be a "PC only" release. I'll be sure to post something here on the forums when it's further along in development.

Hey NightSwordTaz, that sounds cool i'm working on quite a big project, a fighting game for the iphone, street fighter style! & struggling my way through as it doesn't seem like fusion is best suited to making fighting games X) lol. i'm also quite quite new to fusion, just started learning properly this year & also a big fan of old skool japanese arcade games ;D

A street fighter style game for the IPhone? That sounds cool, I started learning fusion fairly recently too.

I like this thread because I'm also new and would like to break the ice rather than just creating topics to ask for help XD
As someone who actually just completed a retro 2D sidescrolling platformer, my number one recommendation to you NightSwordTaz is that even throughout the development process, no matter how much of a pain it may be, market your game a lot. Twitter, youtube, and all the social media platforms you can think of. I say this because I worked hard on my platformer for a solid year and a half, and even though it was free, I made the mistake of giving it no hype whatsoever. The result, unfortunately, is that only a few hundred people have played it. But anyway, I hope the game turns out well for you!
I am currently working on a mobile game using CTF for the first time. The concept is simple and kind of silly. You play as a bird scrolling along a level, pooping on cars that go by. The twist here is that the color of the bird poop needs to show up on the car in order for players to get points. It plays kind of like Gradius except your enemies are simple obstacles and the cars below. I'm off to a slow start, but I'm also confident I can get this done faster than the last game!

Oh, neat! Can I know the name of the platformer and where to find it? I'd love to check it out sometime.
