Something that I need help...

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Sure!

When the counter hits 1 the game saves the hero's X and Y position to Global Value A and B before it jumps to the battle frame. I renamed the global values to HeroPosX and HeroPosY. You don't have to rename them but it helps to remember what the values are used for.

I also made it so that the hero's position is set to Global Value A and B when the "Start of Frame" event runs.

In the battle frame I didn't do much except jumping back to the first frame when the enemy's health reaches 0.

Summarized what we're doing is simply saving and loading the hero's position using two global values. The strength of global values is that they are accessible from every frame in the game, unlike normal alterable values and counters they do not reset when a frame ends.
