  • Hi Everyone,

I have a serious problem with the samples in my application for school, I'll need the solution as fast as possible, here's the problem.

I'm making, as I've said, an application for studying in school, and it has like a comic with voices. But, when I try to put the voices, the sample sounds like real DEMON, it sounds really strange, I need to make this application for next Monday and Its the first time that I'm using Fusion 2.5, but I really love this tool, but I also hate that type of bugs, but I think it's a weight problem, but I've got no solution. PLEASE HELP ME

    Cheers,
    Luis Solana

P.D: Sorry about my English, but I'm Spanish, just, sorry, good bye.

  • We're willing to help, but need some more info, like:

    1) how are you playing your samples (like --> on a specific event ... do this)
    2) specify your sample playing mode (play and loop, on a specific channel, etc.)
    3) file format of the sample

    Just as a test,
maybe you're playing your samples over and over during the frame,
    try adding:

+ only one action when event loops

    to your sound-triggering event
(rightclick the event, "add a new condition", "special actions >> limit conditions >> "only one action when event loops")

a selection of my Fusion examples can be found Please login to see this link.

  • Yep. I would bet the event is being constantly triggered so the sound is playing all the time overlapping and making it sound weird. Try out the "only one action when event loops" condition.

Random Tile World Generation: Please login to see this link.

  • This is happening because the line you are activating the Sample is looped until something breaks it out of the loop. The ideal is to activate a Sample with a variable condition and then change the value of that variable so that the Sample is executed only once.

    Hope this helps.
